Seeking Out of Production Bridge Kits.

Hello Everyone,

I am wondering if some of you people can help me out.

I am in the planning stages for my new model railroad based heavily on the Atlas "Granit Gorge and Northern plan but expanded to fit my slightly larger space. those familiar with the plan know that the tracks cross over them selves on a long series of bridges.

To that end I am hoping to use 4 of the Atlas "Curved Cord Truss Bridge" kits. I believe they are item number 805. And use the matching "Pony Truss Bridge" as approaches. However much to my dismay I have found out that this item has been discontinued and I have not been successful in finding them through my usual means. If any of you people out there know of a hobby shop that still has them instock I would be greatly appreaciative if you were forthcoming with the contact information.

Thanks to everyone in advance and have a nice day.

James

James, these people say, in the descriptions below the pics, that you can alter these kits and get various deck shapes.  Maybe this will do if ebay is a no go..., although there is at least one what you are asking about available for bidding until Dec 03, I think, so David is certainly correct.

Some times it takes a while to find the unusual on ebay. I waited months for my mine kit and coaling tower. I am now waiting for a tiny KOF1 diesel. I thought I had one of those and got sniped. I assume there will be another.

Re: Seeking Out of Production Bridge Kits.

The Atlas Through Truss Bridge will replace the old chord bridge in track plans.  Both are 18 inches long, which fits two sections of Atlas sectional HO track.

That bridge, though, doesn't match up with the pony truss pieces.

Have you just tried Google?  It looks like Lighthouse Hobbies has the pony trusses in stock, and there are plenty of hits for the bridge, too.
