Timberwolf and Redwood 1986

I have a 1986 Timberwolf and Redwood trian set with the track. It looks pretty technical and difficult to put together for me at least. I would like to know how much it is worth? I got some conflicting numbers online.

Timberwolf & Redwood was a train set made by New Bright, a very cheaply made product which is battery operated with plastic track.  If it's like some of the other New Bright sets I've seen, the only metal in it is the motor; everything else is very light weight plastic.  It's not true G-scale because the track is narrower between the rails than standard G-scale track made by all other manufacturers.

Several are being offered on e-Bay ranging in price from $30 to $100.  In my opinion, people asking $100 for one of these sets are asking 10 times too much because they aren't worth more than $20 or $30.

If the track is not damaged, it should all just snap together.  To make it run, push or turn a switch that protrudes from the top of the steam dome.  You'll have no control over the speed other than the freshness of the batteries.  You will need to install C-cell batteries in the tender.
