Good morning , just purchased a lionel camelback at auction and after an hour of operation is semed to bind up and I could hear a gear , any thoughts ??

Not enough information in this post..Was it sold " as is" or, was it sold new in box as old stock? Personally, I would take it tor send it o a authorized repair center if theres no recourse. You have to consider that it can be daunting to find repair parts these days. Although I had a MTH GG1 that did the same thing and I found a piece of loose ballast had meshed in the gears..but then there was no warranty left on it and I thought it was worthwhile to see if the problem was a simple one. But..that was pure, dumb luck.

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

This was just transferred from the train simulator forum where it had apparently been resting since 2013. I suspect the poster isn't following the thread, since these are the only replies (other than the move it elsewhere comment).
