Here are some photos taken last weekend during the Galesburg Railroad Days June 27, 2004. They may or may not display. My geocities website appears to block my images sometimes!!

A view of the BNSF "hump" yard bowl from the "longest bridge over dry land". This is a rare shot now after 911. If you are caught on this bridge, BNSF security will remove you from the bridge!!

Did they have anything this year?Last I heard the RR didnt want anything to do with RR days.BTW no photo shown.

Yes we are on time but this is yesterdays train

You are correct. They did manage to arrange bus tours of the BNSF yard. Buses were $2 for adults and made a tour about every hour. It was very impressive to watch them "hump" the cars. For me it was a rare opportunity not be a railroad employee!!
