    Steam, well steam is king. Being from the land of the Daylight, I favored the GS4-8-4's, the AC cab forewards, and the great home built SP MT class 4-8-2's. Diesel, the enemy, cab unit- the PA, hood- Trainmaster. Electric: GG1 and Milwaukee Little Joes.

    My all time favorite loco is the KCS SD40-2!!! KCS is has the most unique sounds...the GP40s sounds pretty good. They sound almost like a minature race car. I love them so much!!!

    My favorite locomotive is the Alco PAs. My second favorite locomotive is the Canadian National FPA4s.

    I have several favorite locos. They are the EMD E8 and E9 series, the GP,SD 40 and 40-2 series and the F40PH.. All are my favorites.

    I would have to say the NS SD70M's and the CSX SD70MAC's in the 4700 series.

    mine is csx 237 because I saw it in hamlet before it wrecked thanks to a hurricane it is in a TRAINS magazine I belive its 1996 or 1995 also csx 700 I was chasing it then somebody said " he got hit he got hit '' the conductor got hit the csx 700 is a unlucky unit to wrecks with the crew injured or killed also that day I got up in a cab

    Anything from the GE U-boats to AC60CW; to the EMD E and F units to the SD70ACe I genrally Like them all. Not to leave out ALCOs too except for "Black Maria's" and their early locomotives (not High Hoods). I like to spread out my locomotive likes.

    Being a BNSF fan i love the old BN green and black engines that had the long nose with the white stripes running down the front of the nose they were the older trains BN used and still use them sometimes. They also have some with the BN logo painted on the nose too.

    Santa Fe Warbonnet F-3's and F-7's - about as classic as they come, very tough to beat aesthetically, and pulled the Super Chief, easily one of the best trains ever, anywhere!
