When you come to add them to your model railroad they will not look that different to the police of the local force in fact the possible only way you will be able to tell is the badge on the patrol car.
But at least you will know why they are on duty and what their duty is
The classic MRR cop and doughnut scene will be in the depot or union station cafe rather than some dinner out on the highway somewhere.
