  • Alex, I really like that photo. I think it looks perfect in black and white. Reminds me of a picture of 2 PRR K4's meeting.

    I was supposed to go to RailFest in Altoona, but my dad wasn't willing to go because he starts a new job Monday, and also we just got back from the shore........but maybe next year. We are still planning a trip to Altoona in October so I can get pix of the trains against the bright foliage. I think we're going to Strasburg again sometime in August, and maybe the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum. So, lots of photo opportunities.

    Oh, I got a new modern tank car for my Garden Railroad. It's a Coca Cola. Pix to follow.

  • hey guys i thought i would come here for a while seeing that WoW is being pacthed until 2:00 est.

    so i have been playing with a floor layout in my back room (i only have enough room for a floor layout now and then) im using an sw7 and a walthers dash 8 for my motive power. im going with standerd DC power and bachman E-Z track. the layout is realy fun. it has a two track car float ( i used paper to represent the ferry and warf ) and a brewery for industry's along with 3 team tracks.

    just recently i got a QUEEN CD, it=awsome! its got bohemian rapsody,another one bites the dust, killer queen, fat bottomed girls, we will rock you, we are the champions, and under presure. if you have never heard any of them you need to go die in a hole. lol

    i out of here for now see ya later.

  • I can understand the floor layout thing, but Queen? You are kidding right? Anyways, well I had a heck of a good weekend. The Busch series race got rained out so they had to reschedule it for Saturday morning. Kyle Busch won. Man that pissed me off, but it got better that night when the Nextel Cup race ran. Dale Earnhardt, Jr got taken out in the big one, wound up goin 26 laps down, which took him out of possible contention for a win. Kyle Busch tried to go for a Daytona Double Header, but with two to go, Jamie McMurry pulled up next to him on the high line and battled Kyle till the checkered when he won by the slimmest margin of the season thus far. Only .005 of a second! I'll tell ya that was a darn good race!

  • Hey guys. I did some railfanning around the yard here. I got pretty luck considering that there where 3 WC units, and a IC one. WC SD40-2 6004 was there, IC SD40-2 6064, WC GP40 3012, and WC SD40-3 were there. I think the number was 6359. Any way out of all those locos I only got 2. The Geep was behind A407(Fon du Lac to Wausau[The train with the 2 SD40-2s]) and the grey goast I didn't get because I ran out of memory on my digtal. I'll probably get it next time when it switches around here.

    So do you guys think this photo would be worthy for Railpicutres.net?

  • Beautiful picture Jordan.

  • Thanks for your comments guys. I tried to get it onto RP but it got REJECTED.Thumbs Down [tdn]. I kinda knew it was going to happen, so I wasn't really dissapointed. Basicaly what was wrong was it was blurry and grainey.
  • Probably a result of the camera you're using, what is it?
    Lately they've been rejecting almost all my pics for bad image quality, and I can't figure out why! Last night I submitted some from fanning yesterday, but they got popped off for compression, so I'm putting it up from 90 to 98 in the hopes that'll fix it....sigh.

    oscale, guess what 1337 is? GUESS? | 4|\/| (0|\/|P13731\' |=1|_|3|\|7 ||\| 1337!11!!11!

  • I'm using a HP 635. I heard it kinda sucks. Any way I'm using the highest image quality, and pretty high sharpness. Any thing else I could do?
