the funny thing is many times they're both. goths usually are also emo. and i hate them all

 hey noah, does your club go to the lacrosse show too? my club sets up our layout there. so you should take a look if your club sets up

actually everyone who can make it should come. the layout is unfinished, but it's shaping up very nicely and the show will be the first time i run my HO CNWs on DCC. not too special, i know, but it is for me...meh. just come if you can :P

Well I should have known I couldn't stay away. Did alot of running round today with my uncle and now I am just kicked back relaxin. I might be in here early tomarrow mornin.

Max (Lord Atmo Max, that is), our club has talked about going up to La Crosse and taking the layout, but so far we've yet to do it. The problem is that it falls directly between the Madison show (Feb.) and the Green Bay show (April). The month off in between is rather nice to recover from one show before we go to the next.  However, one of these years we might break down and go the La Crosse and skip the April show instead. Not this year though.

There is always the chance that I might make the trip just to see the show though too. It depends if it's a sunny weather day or not (sunny whether makes for good pictures, and the BN(SF) and SOO(CP) around La Crosse is about my favorite place to go railfanning in the US, so far anyway. That way I can go to the show in the morning and shoot trains in the afternoon, or vice versa). If I do get up there one way or another, I'll let you know. I wouldn't mind checking out your layout.

Well, I'm up early this morning (yes, on a Sunday), to head back to the show. Better get going I suppose....

Boy, has this place picked up a little lately! I'll admit it, I was wrong before I guess, which is a good thing. In this case I don't mind being wrong. Seems like the "regulars" group has changed around quite a bit though.

James, The Lego Depot at the NAPM impressed me too. My reaction was almost exactly the same as yours; I couldn't believe it. Definately very cool.

Well, I'm in the midst of running right now, so this is rather brief. The big train show (for this part of Wisconsin anyway) is this weekend in Madison, and my club set up our layout there. It's been a good time so far, and its only half over. I bought a couple new cars, and I've got my eye on a few more that I might have to pick up tomorrow....

So you went to the Mad city show. I was wondering. Did you see a layout with a Bascule bridge on it. Thge bridge raises and lowers in to place. If you did, I know some of the guys in that group. There called the MOO crew. One if them lives in Duluth near by my house and the rest in Wisconsin.

Well, considering al the ones I have seen worship the devil, and have had threats that the devil will kill me or something....    

But they have no style. Black. Black everything. Still black. The majority are loners, and dont care about school.....etc. Pretty much all they do is A. Sit around and worship the devil, B. Sit around and play video games, C. Cut themselves, D. Give me evil stares when I walk around with my football buds.

They scare me. No self respecting guy should have super long hair with black fingernails. Tis not right. (except back in the 80's, with like Ozzy and stuff, it was ok back then)

Most I know dont have any goals in life, except to just be goth and pretend noone likes them. Which is true. Nobody does.

Becasue the goths dont want to be accepted. They want to hide inside their gothiness and stay there. They never come out of their shell and show who they really are. They never try to make non goth friends.

In conclusion, I hate goths. And that is my opinion, and yes, it is for sale for $4.99.

as he said, i dont want to make any enemies, but a lot of the stuff you said was opinion based and steryotypical.

black isnt just a color, its a statement. the statement varies from one person to another. for me its just a general expression of darkenss and a little bit of morbidness. 

i dotn worship satan. i have no religion. im not an athiest, but if anything im soemwhere inbetween nihilisim and agnostic.  i dont think that were the ones to decide weather or not there is a god(s). PLEASE dont make this about releigion.

i used to be a loner. soemone i love very much showed me that you NEED friends, tho. anywayse i think that i have every right to be disgusted with humanity as a group. no one person, just the group. society is a failed experiment.

i have some freinds.  not all of them are gothic. very few are, actually. i respec them very much and they respect me back, and they are no "fair-weather freinds" mabey were not pouplar, but who really wants to be?

goth is who i truely am. its not just a style or high school click thing, its a lifestyle. 

being goth is almost accidental. like if you wake up in the morning and your warm. its not your choice to be warm, you just are. you cant just say i think ill be warm this week and instantly be warm. being goth is more knowing that your SOMETHING, then finding it and drifiting it and adopting it to work with who you are. i do express myself, and i do it proudly and i say whats on my mind and im in touch with how i feel about stuff. im very emoptional, but IM NOT EMO.

i have some freinds.  not all of them are gothic. very few are, actually. i respec them very much and they respect me back, and they are no "fair-weather freinds" mabey were not pouplar, but who really wants to be?

As Rooney said it is a statement (I'm not goth and I am not siding with anyone just so everyone knows lol) as the great Johnny Cash said "You wonder I dress in black, why you never see bright colors on my back, and why does my appearence seem to have a somber tone. There is a reason for the colors I have on, I wear it for the prisoner who has long served his time but is there as a victim of the time." Goths I think Im not sure but I think are trying to make a statement like that (not exactly that but in that sorta meaning).
