  • I am trying to unearth information on a railroad station historical society. The last time I tried, the letter was returned because the postal seervice couldn't match the address I had. Any help will be appreciated. At the moment, I am looking for more than the scanty information I have on the Erie RR's Elmira Station, which has been replaced.

  • I've never really had the time to devote to a RR Society as I work have work as a Locomotive Engineer for the past 24 years. I would like to get involved but I must say I have found most "fans" rather difficult to deal with so I have felt "put off" in this venue. I am trying hard to overcome past prejudice but it is hard when someone wants to have a "How many bolts it...." type of conversation. I like to get my hands dirty and try to keep my mouth clean.

  • I have belonged to the New Haven railroad Historical & Technical Association for some time- I have never contributed much but enjoy seeing the past, as I have lived near the lines and seen the many changes over the years.
