I belong to the CNW and WMR Historical Societies and the CNR special interest group. If I could find one for the CPR, I would join that too. N. Herbert Michigan

I belonged to NRHS club #1 15 years ago until politics tore the group apart. I was a board member. The last day I belonged was the last meeting as a board member and because of the screaming and yelling at the meeting and the threat of physical violence (not to me personally) amongst the board members (and their cliques), I walked out that evening and never went back. And will never consider joining another again........

I am a member of two, L&N Railroad Historical Society and the Southern Railway Historical Association. In reference to Robert Mann's query, I believe that a Florida Shortline group would be viable. The Tampa area ( I lived there in the 80's) had a very active group of train chaser's and old roadbed hunters. I still talk with a few of them from time to time and they seem to be as active as ever.

I'am a member of the Norfolk & Southern HS(Bob Reisweber,pres,)Haven"t got the chance to meet with them on a annual basis.Seem to me that they are a pretty good group of people ,very knowledgable hoped to meet with them in 2004
