I belonged to NRHS for many years thru the Miami, FL chapter. When I moved to North Carolina I lost contact with them and they finally did not send me a renewal notice. I might rejoin but due to illness and physical condition I would not longer be able to go to the annual conference.

I'm a fan of the long defunct "Ocklawaha Valley Railroad" in Florida, (check my web site at: http://www.webspawner.com/users/ovrailroad/index.html ) I doubt there are enough fans to start an OV society
but I wonder if there is any interest in starting a FLORIDA SHORTLINE HISTORICAL SOCIETY? Check out my site
and send me an E:MAIL of your ideas or interest.

Yes-Rock Island Technical Society. Lots of information on the RI past and what's currently running on or has happened to the rails.
