What train simulation software do you use?

I use the Microsoft augmented by some from Maple Leaf Tracks.

I have MSTS and Auran 2004. I use 1 gig of ram and a Ti4600 vid card. There are a number of additional software such as the 20th Century ltd. And Sand Patch.

I am looking forward to MSTS 2.

I have both MSTS and TRS2004. I have been working with the "Surveyor" feature in TRS2004 and am well on my way to building a virtual version of my "real" model railroad. It hasn't been without a few bumps as I learn to use it, but the results are most satisfying.

Something I've found really enhances my sim experience is the Rail Driver console. Granted, it's over $150 with shipping, but once you use it, you'll never control a sim train from the keyboard again. It is possible that they may be creating an AAR stand version, for the purists who feel that a console isn't correct for their favorite loco.

I have MSTS with the many addons like Sandpatch, LTV-Erie Minning Co. trainset, SRW, Regional Add-on Pack, The Activities , Paint Shop & many more. Working on obtaining the Cajon & Barstow additions.

I saw once that there was a commercial version of Kicking Horse Pass for CPRail, is that still available. As a conductor presently working for the Huron Central Railway out of Sault Saint Marie Ontario I really get a kick out of seeing some new places and scenery that MSTS offers.
