We choo-choo nerds loved to pontificate about "throttle lag" in GE locomotives. And we all wished we were first to refer to the Union Pacific as "The Borg." But now, since BNSF has amassed a huge stable of DASH-9s, we no longer talk smack about GE. And some future day we'll realize that THE SANTA FE IS GONE and the touchy-feely BNSF did it! (Who's the Borg NOW? Dingus!) But we'll find another lame reason to hate the UP, whose C44ACCTEs are the coolest motive power on any continent! That isn't the Borg flag waving on their flanks. (Yeah, their SD70s are okay too. But can't somebody lower the nose herald? It looks like a wind-blown moustache)

I had to vote for the EMD SD90MACH-II loco. I feel in love w/ it when I heard, saw, and felt that 425,000lbs beast thunder down Bayview Junction. COME ON people u can't deny the 16V265H enigne, complete w/ 16 cylinders, 6,000hp, twin turbocahargers, 265mm bore; 300mm stroke piston cycle. NOW THATS SERIOUS POWER!
LORD HELP US ALL TO BE ORIGINAL AND NOT CRISPY!!! please? Sarah J.M. Warner conductor CSX
