Yep, I've been a member of  many, MANY discussion boards over the years that have "improved" themselves, not all of which actually ended up being improvements


All progress being change, but all change not necessarily being progress, etc.

This latest change here actually being an improvement (IMO) but then I never did really like the  snitz format.

Funny thing about when the host asks "we're really anxious to hear everyones feedback on the new format, so let us know what you think"... has ausually been more of an exercise of the lips than any genuine invitation for constuctive input.


After they make the change, invest in new software, and go through the setup phase, there is a less than 1 tenth of one thousandth of one percent chance that are gonna change direction if people are unhappy.

What they do (hosts in generall, not just Kalmbach)  if faced with criticism is start defending their position with rebuttal suggesting the critics are somehow resistant to change, blah blah, "enlighten yourselves, you knuckledraggers, evolve or perish"  blah blah. It's a pattern  that invariably repeats.
