  • Yes, we do want pics!!
My computer is Win. 98 ver. II, and a total waste of space. 128 megs of RAM and 14 gigs of memory. I havew more than that in my email accounts! I'm downloading the anti-virus now, and I think that I don't want tone, everything is back to usual crappy from '320x240 16 colours' crappy. It's back to all the glorious 1024x whateevr 32 bit colour.
Today I have an english project type ting and a physics lab to do. Fun!

Noah- that's great! Sounds like a great time! I have 2 decoders, 1 with a plug, and 1 with a disintegrated plug, neiether in engines because I don't have anywhere to run DCC right now.

Richard-Sorry to hear about the show, but I'm sure the cab ride will more than make up for it!

    See ya all!

  • Nice shots Richard!!!!!!!! Good luck on your cabride, can't wait to hear about it. I did not go railfanning, so I am working on my layout...

I saw an SD50 yesterday!!! yall want pictures?
  • Matt, The way the decoders I have work, is that they are not plug 'n' play, they have clips that fit in the proper spots on an Athearn locomotive. So there is a little more work than just plugging it in, but I don't have to solder it either this way.

Chris, Thanks a lot for the comments on my photos on railpics and railimages! And yes, please post photos!

    Noah
  • hahahaha, go figure. We had a IC SD40-3 6250 leading, a fake WC SD40-3 6943 trailing. And the surprise of the day ( drumrole ) a BNSF SD40-2 8006! I got pics on rrpicturearchives, new brighton 4. Seeya,

  • Cool Richard.... As Far as clubs go i reunited with the club Im a member of for the first time in over 10 months!.......... I work for a living, lol!!! but it was fun!...... It was at the carolina southern division super intendant of the NMRRA's house He has a 2 and a half layer, continuous lay out! like 10 or 11 miles of scale track! i was running a switcher around it and had to stop it a couple of times for passing trains but I eventually got a lap in, in a little under an hour lol!!! It was a lot of fun I took a cut of about 6 or 7 hoppers up to the upper yard and then picked up a load of 4 or 5 box cars and brought them to the bottom... it was super fun lol....
Heres a link the first pic is of the lay out i ran... it only one corner.... but its really cool!!!

As I've already explained. My cab pics are all on film!!!! I usually don't take stills unless I have time. And I didn't.

Besides, I didn't just want pics of the trip, I wanted to hear sound and see motion etc.!!!!

Richard, congrats on the cab ride. Fun aren't they...

I'm not sticking around long tonight. I have to study for a Biology test, and I have a headache. I just want to go rest somewhere. Although, I may try installing another decoder tonight, this would be my first decoder install by myself if I can pull it off.

    See ya around,
    Noah
