  • Well today was a depressing day for trains the highlight was a CSX SD40-2 # 8082 and FURX 3066 on F020(rock). The other side was missing Q182 twice 1. went to get a coal train number and what happens? the truck's left rear tire gets cut and had to change it on the spot with Q182 going through Augusta. 2nd stuck in traffic Q182 passes.

  • James, i am only willing to say that it is near Byron Bay. I don't like to give out that sort of information over the internet.

  • Happy early birthday, pal. Hey would anyone by any chance be intrested in joining Western Rail?
  • Well, I don't know about the rest of you in the greater-Wisconsin area, but I'm getting out 'fanning tomorrow. It's supposed to be absolutely perfect sun tomorrow, supposedly not a cloud in the sky around Southern Wisconsin anyway. I'm heading over to the CP line between Tomah and Portage, Wisconsin, and if we happen to dig something up on the UP line between the Twin Cities and Chicago we'll pop up there too (the line runs just North of Tomah on it's way to Chicago, although catching traffic on this line isn't easy). If all goes well I should have pictures posted Sunday or Monday.

    See you guys around,
    Noah
