  • Howdy folks!!! Happy Friday!!!!!

oscaletrains....to post a pic...right click on the pic from YOUR server, (such as a photogucket thing) and select properties. Then, you will see a web adress. Then, copy and paste it to a post,

and then put these tags on it : [ img] [ /img] so it will look like....

[ img] adress [ /img] but as Chad said (by the way, glad you stopped by Chad!) no spaces after the [

    Hope that helps!

Anyway...HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I have had an insane week with 4 tests and a presentation, and I will hang around here for a while, and then go work on my trains!

jhhtrainsplanes- that is a generous offer! I appreciate it, but I will pass, as I am not much of a computer gamer...but thanks!

  • Hey everyone. Nothing going on here right now. I have been really busy lately, and will be even more busy with shoveling tomorrow because of the predicted amount of snowfall, which happens to be 4-12 inches. Oh well, really tired right now.

  • Hey Matt, I was looking at your pics, and saw this...

Is that your layout? If so, it is totally awesome...and I psy an F45!!!!!! [:P][:P][:P] Nice SD90, and other stuff too!

    Is that your layout?
  • Howdy Chris, I see you lurking around a little.

Not much new from me, just been making progress on the turntable, getting the handrails installed, ect. School sucked today, we had shortened classes(which wasn't bad), but then we had some dumb assembly for the rest of the afternoon. And, I got two projects to work on over the weekend for school. So basically I'm unhappy.

I'm going to head out tonight with a shorter post than usual; I'm dead beat. I was up about 45 minutes sooner than I'm used to today to shovel snow before I headed off to school. We had about 2 inches and I made a little money, but it wasn't fun getting up early.......

    See ya around,
    Noah

  • Guess who these two are?

    LMAO

  • well today I saw that CSX has been putting new rock and has been working hard around here. C&O 4617 has been found..... here MOW work which has been easy work. The interesting train of the day was a mixed train with CSX,UP,BNSF power which were B36-7, SD60M with 3 windows, and a BNSF with number 605. I also seen a old C&O flat car I couldn't see the date but will see it tomorrow.

  • Hey Matt,

Just how do you mesure your light for you pictures? My camera does it thorugh the lens, and so far (fingers crossed) haven't had any problems with over or underexposing pictures.
  • Happy Page Fifty!!!

James, my camera has a through-the-lens system, but my model railway pictures are over a second, and the autotimer and light meter don't work then. I usually take a 3 second pic with the lens at f22.
Kevin, get any pics of that SD60M? Haven't seen one fo those before..of course, I have seen them in pictures, but what the heck, eh?

Okay, this was rejected by railpictures a while ago, and your job is to guess why! http://photobucket.com/albums/b274/trainboysd40/?action=view¤t=ac4400stephen2002.jpg

  • a few pages ago someone said something about giving computer games. i am pretty good with computers, so just some info, without going on and on. windows 95 is a totally then new operating system. windows 98 is based on 95, just with some changes. so if it ruls on 95 it might run on 98, but i make no guranetees. windows me is bases again on the previous 2, and the same goes. windows 2000 is totally different, and may not take many games. it is desgined for buisness use. ditto windows nt, whitch is a networking system windows xp may run these games but you may have to use the compatibily mode, and set it to the respective mode. that is all i have to to say.

    bye

PS don't come to australia looking for me if it doesn't work.
  • Morning everyone.
It has not started to snow here yet, but when it comes it will come with a vengence.
Matt, I have no clue why they would reject that photo. I only store my photos on shutterfly.com, they do not reject anything, so that is an advantage.

  • Matt- I didn't get a pic of the SD60M it was near the brick factory or on their private road and some were working and we didn't want to get in trouble so I just got the number and left.

  • Today was a VERY good day even if its raining a total of 9 trains so far including a 4 NS lashup going elephant style even the next train for NS which had primer 9975 and CRIX 5985 (I think). On CSX side C&O 4617 WAS IN THE LEAD of a 0 car train he has a chessie horn and a fast-pace bell the interesting thing is the conductor said C&O 4617 while the engineer says CSXT 4617. One of 3 monified C40-8 has also came 7588 and CSX 5107 came with him he is a spirt of Grafton I belive somebody correct me if not.
