  • Well, same here Colin. My stomach really feels painful.

I found out something awesome! This was kind of a stupid idea but it was pretty good! The Kodak I got for Christmas was temporary and my dad is exchanging and getting another Canon (not sure what type yet, he hasn't told me) that has the fast-click shutter or whatever and night shot that also can zoom~! My other camera, believe it ornot, you had to go to the menu to zoom. Now the one I'm getting has a telescopic lense! Can't wait!

The other day I found out that I had received the highest score on the PSAT out of the entire Class of 2007 in my school. I'm so proud of myself, and my 1930 out of 2400.[^]

Lotus: Excellent work on the caboose. I would probably be drawing in a similar style, but a few years ago I split away from pencil and paper, and found out how to use a computer. So, I'm going down another route...[sigh] But I do still doodle from time to time. That's where a lot of my computer drawings originate.[:D]

I'm going to be getting a nice sized lot of N scale off of NTRES! YAY![:D]
You draw on a computer how do you do that? Do you use the mouse and a special program, or do you have one of those fancy electronic pens?
  • Well I'm glad i made you laugh, will.[banghead]
The pictures will be coming soon!!!!
    See yall
  • I think I have seen 699 twice and the rest none.

Leasers- well not that many maybe a HLCX here and there or a FURX/GCFX.On NS that is rare. There has been 2 GMTX/GATX units swithing in NS's Nixon yard around back in 05 including a HATX.A HLCX and GEFX was run through power in late May 05.There once was a train with 6 EBBX ex NS C30-7's in 03 on NS.

unpatched- in 05 SP 9756 on CSX and on NS, ATSF 607.

    we also got rock,intermodle,freight

  • I have been absent for quite a while so I have decided to join into some of the conversation and Will, its nice to see that your on. Its good to see new faces. Hey, Will, when is that HO bug going to bite so that you start collecting trains again.

Anyway, SCHOOL F[censored]'s. and I hate it. Homework,.....Boring Coversation........ Did I mention Homework.........

Will, when is that Ho bug going to bite so that you start collecting trains again....I said that already...

Good luck on getting that SD45 Alec.
In Wisconsin Rapids there was an SD45 painted (Brand new paint job!!!) in Wisconsin Central with the CN logo under the WC sign. I mean probably came off the paint line an hour before I had arrived. Brand spanken new. This tells me that the CN is quite attached to there SD45's and there IC units also. So this is why I say that you probably won't beable to get one. But dreaming is a good thing. But I'm telling CN is not giving up there SD45's any time soon. Sorry[:(]

  • Hey guys,

Been busy with school work lately. Not a bunch, but enough to keep me busy. Finals are comming up and all, and so things are picking up a little. I've been working on a few project's I've got due next week too.

Scott, Congrats on the high score on the PSAT. I'm curious how I'm going to make out when it comes to my turn.....

Thanks for the info on the 700 too guys. I've got to get up to Duluth to ride behind her, and visit the rest of the museum sometime yet. And I want to see some of the DMIR before it's totally noodlized. Stupid CN.......

  • Well, got my old computer back! But i"m also going back to school tomorrow [V].

Oskar- It seems 699 stays in CSX's mid- southeastern region. Like Georgia and Alabama and Florida. Well everything seems to be in Georgia when looking on RRPictureArchives.NET.

Up here there might be more leasers on NS than CSX some days!!! Yes, more on NS than CSX. Early 05 NS found out it's cheaper to lease from leasing companies than to 'borrow' locos from other rails. The LRCX, ATGX and RMGX etc. all went out of business because new leasers like GCFX, CEFX, GECX, HLCX and FURX came in with more going prices. Alstom owns a majority of those companies.

Leasers NS usually has are NREX, HLCX, FURX 1100 series and ex- BNSFs, and CEFX. One time I saw one of them HLCX ex-MPIs in consist with an NS. And another CSX was power on the point, an NS C40-8 was second, and an NREX SD40-2 was third. Rare!

Another new leaser you'll see on NS up here if you don't see it down there is Citicorp Railmark Inc. (CRIX). They own ex- UP SD60s only. They're quite ugly but nice to see.

A CSX leaser not mentioned in either of our above posts was the Relco Leasing Co. (RLCX). Do you have those down there? They're starting to annoy me. The majority of them are former- LMX/GECX B39/B40-8s. I first saw them in 04 all of the sudden! They came out of nowhere basically. They I think became BNSF's second largest leasing comapny behind FURX and their Cascade Greens. No comment on those. Chris will get mad at me, LOL!

Anyways, sorry for the long post but hey, it's informative!
