  • Dinner was okay, NO GIRL THERE THOUGH. I was mad because my parents decided that it was only family. That was pretty upsetting.

She is a beast all right!

  • And yet another weeekend where railfanning and model railroading seems to be down! Boo! I hate when this happens! My mom always does this! But I do have a shot at getting a cab ride and switching cars around tomorrow with the WLE!!! And of course my favorite engineer (Patrick Lynch!)

I probably won't be going to Berea, OH (my favorite local hotspot) until the 14th or so! Until then I must sit in a chair in front of a desk listening to teachers say "Get out a clean sheet of paper" five days in a row!!! Boring; or at least not my idea of fun! Let's just say I'm inpatient and need to end this weird conversation here!

    Anyways.........

Alec, nice drawing of the WC! You did some nice shading on that!

Kale, if that is your name; nice SW1 in your signature!

    Catch ya later!

  • James, BTW, I wouldnt talk aobut your NP BUDD car thing, if BNSF found out you got it illegally, and they wanted to be a ***, they could majorly fine you. BTW

  • Alec, I love snow too. It's just that we don't have any around here anymore..... Nice work on the drawing too, it looks pretty good.

Not much new from me. Been working on homework since I saw you all last. Depressing English it is too. For crying out loud, I've been speaking and writing the durn stuff for close too 15 years, why the heck do I have to take another four aweful years in high school!! Stupid stuff.

    [sigh]

    Whoop, I gotta go.

where have you been since November it was on Q692 on November 20th I posted about it in the last fourm of this and then it was here from 12/16/05-1/7/06 and was on F214/215 for a little now got replaced by CSX SD40-2 8207. I have saw it more than 5 times in the past 3 years its not really a big deal now that its been here since last year. Now waiting on NS to go and show their Southern 4610 and Maerask Sealand/NS 3329(note has BN sounding horn) also, what will make me happy at this time of year is seeing NS 6553,6593,4622 which were involved in Granitville.I saw CSX's 100th AC4400CW # CSX 100 and a ''old timers train'' with had 2 lucky to be alive C30-7's 7052 and 7054 carrying empty rock.

note CSX 4609 was a RICE YARD HUMP UNIT and 4621 was a OSBORN YARD BOWL LOCOMOTIVE.They have been wondering past there orginal spots I don't know why they still say the things under their number.

  • Speaking of the Maersk unit, that is spotted quite often up here in Fostoria, OH! I've never seen it but plan on it!

Another thing that abruptly appeared in NS's Fostoria Yard was the NS C.A.T. Unit! Which is a rare sighting! I believe it stands for Caliber Auto Transfer or something like that.

NS's "River Street Rambler" is also good to see although I'm not sure where it is. It probably stays in one location. I'd imagine due to it's name. Oskar, do you know where this unit hangs out mostly? Thanks

  • I have never heard of it but if I get a chance I will ask my freind David who works for NS and never heard of the C.A.T. unit either but I will ask

  • I just looked at America64's topic "Rairoad Incidents" and I could not agree more with what Ed had said in it. Honestly, people like that should not be around, and it disgusts me that someone might be asking these questions to find the gorey details of a rail related incident[:(!][V][V][}:)]

  • Max, First of all,the BNSF are allready dicks and I don't think they even cared at the time that the sign was gone, Mr Sarcasim! The man (Bill) who took it is a peice of work hinself, but he is nice even if he is an O scaler! I'll say hi to all the employees of the NSSR at the Sports garden today, I some how was forced into going. [:(!]
I found out what unit was at 28th street yard.... It appears to be a SW8 that still has it's original SINGLE BEAM HEADLIGHT!!!
COlin sorry about the no show,,, time to move onto crush "C" JK, LOL

    Thats all for today

    Worship the GN's NW-5's!!!!!!!

    Kale
  • Well, the thing is, my parents decided that only family would be there, so I was a little annoyed. No crush C yet.
    Colin from prr.railfan.net

  • Max, if you want to be employed you need to well fib your age. Any whay you didn't miss much of anything at the employee party. only Ken, Alice, kevin, kaitlnn, sarah b, Lauren, amy and ricard were there. By the way did you know how long it took to find out that that was a SW8! Mr Timothy Dean Schandel was invollved in the identification of the loco, and it came to rices by theway of the daily transfer run between 28th street and the point. Nice picture of the GP30 must of been at the nd of the season because it just dosen't have it's new paint shine anymore. By the wat when are we cleaning the NORTHLAND???
    Kale
  • Hmm, hows about this Saturday? God knows it needs it.
BTW, I am currently in talks with 3 companies (including CN) abotu you know what, and we are talking about blue carded,HEP equiped units for relativly cheap.
