  • Hey coborn and jdirelan, why don't the two of you cool your jets before I'm forced to lock the teen thread yet again. No one comes here to read you bickering.

understood, didn't mean to start any trouble
  • John, if you don't want to start anything, then don't insult people, it's that simple....
Anyways, I went to Banff after church today, and got mad at my digital camera for trying to underexpose my shots in a particular direction...so I had to manual, and of course while I was adjusting the aperture, not even to the shutter speed, the train comes whpping around the corner....still, I managed to pull off the shot while cursing myself for not bringing the K-1000 in that weather. Here are a couple of shots of the station, just 'cause.

I liked the way the signal framed it....and I'm tired. Tongue [:P]
And now, the shot of the day...

I also decided to take a movie of the backlit train that that train passed, if you're so inclined to watch my first attempt ever at videography....which is actually not bad under the circumstances.

And the still I took right before the vid...

And, finally, my first pics of my in-progress N scale model railroad....this will be the scenic highlight of it, with an appoximately 60 or 70 foot tall steel trestle....not bad for one inside of a coffee table, I think!

  • So yesterday I was playing football against Esko, and they have suck crappy kids, they play 9-12 graders on their FRESHMAN team. So I was running the ball, and then got leveled by this huge kid. I thought I was ok, but then I got really light headed so i sat down. Then I got nauseated...so I went to the hospital (we won 40-28) and I DIDNT get a concussion, but minor trauma or something like that. SO im home from school. I did have a game saving interception before this incident, and a 50 yard kickoff return.
