  • Dude... it'd be sweet to drive a steamer down the pass... at 60MPH! But it'd suck if you had to stop quickly!
  • up here in Maine engieneers have to be carful when they are working their train through the woods because there might be a moose or deer on the tracks.

  • Well down south in Texas, they ride that throttle. Since a good portion of the state is flat, the only thing that they really have to worry about is horses and cattle.

I suppose but it got real hard when me and Kale were called to bring the 227 (the steamer) down Marias Pass in that big snow storm last year....man....going 60 MPH in some places...finall we got it together and got the Presidents train down the pass.....Man you gotta have nerves of steel for that one.

Of course, steaming it up by yourself is real hard too.

I respect what you did, as long as you respect my steam experience, as well as the fact I changed out a generator on a CSX SD80MAC by myself!!! Lazt shop guys.....

Yup...uh.hu..That's right.. I bet that was fun...Max.. especially when the locomotive is in Duluth and Marias pass is in Montana.. Just a thought.

Anyway, I hope to be getting a Milwaukee road Steeple cab here in the next week. Keep my fingers crossed....

Just for those that don't know what a steeple cab is, This electric locomotive was a yard jockey used for..well switching. Had 500 HP and was a bit smaller than a SW1.

This is the Steeple cab. This is the exact model I want. It's the same number also.     James

  • coborn35 stop making stuff up, you’re not funny. It just gets really annoying to read all your BS post. You volunteer at a museum, you don't work for the railroad deal with it.
  • Guys, lets be somewhat civil here. I would like to come back to a better and friendlier enviornment.

I can do nothing but laugh at your post.

If you had read the last few pages you would have found the humour in that post.

    picking fights with ME

    and putting people DOWN!

  • wow Crobon, big man calling me out on an internet forum. At least your last post wasn't some annoying trolling post like everything else you've produced.

So, I guess if I REALLY MEAN something I should RANDOMLY put it in ALL CAPS and that means I'M REALLY MAD and SERIOUS, right?
  • Actually, the caps insinuate accents.

Anyway, James, did our stuff come in yet? I cant wait to get the GN car.

  • No need for that.

I simply will not respond to his posts.

That assures that the arguement dies down, and that bergie does not have to take any action against anybody.
