Almost there...just need to do a liiittle more work and I'm out...also, my parents get back from Greece today, and I will demand compensation for my uninvolvement. Specifically, getting them to preorder a PCM GN S-2 (4-8-4) and buy me a digital rebel...I jsut spent three weeks without a camera. Now that was hell...

Well, now all i need to do is go to graduation tonight, and im done. Nice DME shot, wish it was an ex MILW one though, as the DME paint doesnt go well with canadian engines i think.

Yaaa...yaaa.. but hey... there still Milwaukee road units and always will be. Hey by the way you siad you wanted the SOO line unit and The milw unit. Will both have sound or the will the one only have sound or no sound at all???

  • Ive thought about it, but im sticking to no sound, because then i will think differently of my none sound equipped units. It may sound stupid, but until i start installing them on all units, i wont go for them.

Every year here in Duluth MN. The 261 takes an excursion up to Duluth and then makes it's way along the DMIR. Pretty cool actually but the crew are not the nicest people in the world. They feel superior to everyone else because they have a steam engine and we don't. Like the train....not the crew.

  • I would love to see 261 !
  • I am going to see the 261, and probably ride it at the end of June here, on my Brithday actually. It's making a few runs out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I'm riding him on a leg between Wisconsin Dells, to New Lisbon and return to the Dells. Should be pretty cool. He's making the same run two days in a row too, so I'll be chasing him the other day. And there is the chance I'll chase his return run back to Minnieapolis as far as Tunnel City, Wisconsin, through the old MILW tunnel there. It's one of the last few tunnels in the state.

Did he get into a flame war on the garden railways forum or something? I doubt that his account would be deleted just for the advertising...

Ah hahem Matt? I post on your forum remember
    Alexander
  • Yeah, and so does the other Alex...remember that we don't have many regular posters...
Strange about Eric being deleted - I though Bergie usually only locked accounts like that.
Edit: I see a (possibly) similar member (06archerd) did indeed get deleted, rather than locked - But Eric was locked the last few times Bergie decided he was causing too much trouble..
