Modeltrain lover, you can also go and load your pictures from your camera and place them under photobucket. Then from there you can copy and paste the picture. Just like my sig. Kale, I need to ask, who is Mrs. Dalmand?

She is or was before max's attack on my neighbor.......

  • Oskar - Don't forget about ex - Conrail SD45-2 no. 8889. I saw it as the third unit of a local down in Greenwich, OH last July 2005.

Yesterday, at Berea, I saw two NS primer ES40DCs # 7545 and 7527. And I also saw two CSX ES44DCs # 5265 and 5238. 5265 was pulling GCFX 3088 (one of few primer/gray ghost GCFX units with two blue stripes down side).

Later on, NS 2742 came by (new SD70M-2) pulling 7028, a GP50. 2742 was freshly painted into the horsehead scheme.

That's about it today....but just something to point out - I currently have 1,027 photos on rrpicturearchives.net....YAY!!!

    ...................

Oh yeah - forgot to mention the GECX ex-UP SD40T-2 I saw leading a CSX intermodal yesterday. Along with a crew change on NS that had NS 6666 on it.

  • CSX 8889 was reclassified into a SD40-2 or something like that becuse most sites say SD40-2 even under the loco when I saw it in Atlanta.

  • ModelTrainLover, you posted 4 photos. The photos that you posted are doubles. You posted a small and large version of each picture. What you have to do to enlarge them is click on the thumbnail version, and then it will enlarge itself. Right click on the large picture to get to properties, and then use that to put the larger picture on here.

  • Thats helpful information there. I guess I'm going to have to try that myself.

Its clear you have no real intrest in railroads, you're just trying to shotgun information for this project you have. Haven't you ever done a paper or project before? Just go to Google and type in train or go the a Boarders or Barnes and Nobles and look up some books. Besides, I don't know what kind of school you go to, but information you got on an online forum isn't a very good soruce of information.

  • Ok here we are the Maine Centrail Railroad this is my rr of choice

  • First of all jdirelan im not doing an assignment on railroads but on trains specifically steam trains and i dont know much about trains. I can go to the site and gather information but what use will that do for me if i dont understand what it means. Thats were the online forum comes in, people aka real people will advise me on what so and so is and does.

Secondly dont go shoving your nose and mouth where it doesnt belong. You have no right to criticize me on what and what i should not do. Also who said i was using this as a reference. In addition i have done many projects in my life spand.

  • Actually buddy, you ought to listen to him. You dont need to do it on Steam locomotives, if i were you i would choose something more recent as you can get more help that way. You dont know much, if ANYTHING about trains because you arent even listening to people here. If you act mature and ask politely you'll get more people helping you. And be SPECIFIC when you ask for information. But like i said, if you want more people to help you, do something more RECENT, as in the 1960's to current. And do Diesel Locomotives, you know the ones that are around now adays.
