  • I like the sunny shot with the fall colors

    - Formerly From The Home of Wisconsin Central's 5,000,000th Carload

    - Manitowoc Cranes, Manitowoc Ice Machines, Burger Boat

  • While both photos are good, I voted for No 1 because i think it is the better composition.

  • Both are very nice
  • * The NS Roadrailers are a terrific shot, I especially thought so when I download the high resolution image and enlarged it to full screen. The tilted first trailer sort of kills the fairy tale aspect, though.
    * But I really loved the BN in the yard best. This was a truly powerful photo of railroad spirit. The clean ballast, the shadows on the ballast, the size of the yard, and the sharp definition of the cars that define the alley the BN is moving through were all pluses.
    * I let my HP printer software convert the picture to grayscale and if anything, the power of the picture was more focused on function. Surprisingly this also emphasized the moving train. This was one of the few pictures that I felt lost nothing in B&W. Both color and B&W go on my wall.
  • Photo #2.... SORRY guys... YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THAT GREEN & WHITE.....
  • #1 is a nice traditional train shot. There is something unique about #2 with the train travelling through a railroad yard. This is a type of photo not often seen, especially in a photo contest.#2 gets my vote [:)].
Ride Amtrak. Cats Rule, Dogs Drool.
  • #2 most definitly. Always love the yard action. Best place to be on any cool summer evening.....................
  • where was picture 2 taken? It caught my eye because of the full yard. keep up the good work, both pics are really good.
  • I sure wish NS would use two diesels. I know its efficient or not needed but it looks alot better. I photograph them in KC some. Usually one diesal at a time. Good shot son both of you.
  • Both great shots - very hard to choose. But I have to go with #2. Lot's of activity & I love the SF & BNSF.
  • Photo#2 shows great love for the model railroading industry

  • These are great photos! And #1 is exactly my kind of Fall photo. Any other time I would have voted for it. But, #2 got my vote because it stands out in the crowd as being a different photo. You just don't see many like that one. I just had to vote for it. Thanks for such a hard choice to make.
  • Autumn gold with NS Roadrailer rates #1 IMHO this week. Well composed with a taste of the season. Keep them coming, lads!

  • Finally someone gets a great picture of the Norfolk Southern Train Line. I love it, And want to see more thanks for the great picture. That's all i needed to see. It gets my vote a 100 times over the others. Thanks again, Rob<ahawkscry>[:)][:D][8D]
