What would be your favorite engin of all time

  • The SD40-2.
  • The Milwaukee Road Box Cab electric set of 4. EF1, EF2, EF3, EF4, Combined Horse power and that of tractor effort beats out the biggest steam engine by 2.5. With close to 15000 horse power and a tractive effort over 300,000 lbs per square inch, its unbeatable. they were the most powerful electric locomotives ever to exsist in America and probably in the world. could pull 200 car trains over the mountains and that gives you an idea of how powerful they were. And not to mention they were NOT a maintance hazard (Sorry to those who like the Steam power.) and usually never broke down. Unbelieveable I say.
