While I respect your opinion, this forum is not about class, it is about opinions. Sure, an SD45 may not be as "classy" as a Pioneer Zypher, but it does show the other side of railroading, freight railroading, the gritty work, and a lot of people like that. I do Besides, what is wrong with pickup trucks???, I happen to like them... You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Next is SD45 high nose long hood forward, the proper way to run a diesel, screw the wide nose!!! Craig S. Posted by stmtrolleyguy on Mon, Sep 26 2005 7:57 PM Okay, I think picking a favorite is just about impossible.... So here's a comment (not the best loco ever, just one that's not even mentioned here at all yet.) General purpose : Gp30, low nose. I like the gp9/7, and they do good work, but nothing beats the styling on the front of a gp30. Just look at the way the roof housing meets up with the cab, the narror windows, the dual headlights mounted up high above the windshield.....They look like they should be much larger locos or something, but the look of one of those from the front says power.
