TEEN RAILFAN PLACE- LETS TALK TRAINS !

  • I have seen tons of them a couple of Pickens' along with some back in the 90's also saw one that got the torch a couple of weeks ago atleast that's what I think it was BDLX 9505.

How many E-units those the WSOR have I know they have 10A since I was there at the open house in June.

  • Hey All [8D]

Just dropping in to say "Hello". A lot of you guys know me already. [;)] I guess this is the same thing as the coffee shops in some of the other forums. You guys seem to talk more trains than than the coffee shops tho. Good for you all. [:)]

I think Noah will vouch for me and say that I am an "ok" guy. I believe several of the others will too. [;)]

I didn't read every page but I see some good artwork and drawings. I can not draw a straight line with a pencil and ruler. [:(] You all keep up the good work.

  • Yeah, I'll vouch for him! He's a great guy.
So it is still really freaking cold here, but I finally got my next math assignment done. Unfortunately, I also have to do four quizzes and another siignment before my birthday. (We all remember that, right? December 6th)

  • I've missed a bit in this thread. We got some snow! [:)] Jim, it's good to see you here. [:)]
  • Ah crud, we're getting the snow again over here in Ohio. Well, I'm going railfanning Sunday at least!!! Maybe it won't snow that heavy and I will have a good railfan day (even though I have alot of bad karma to come my way).

Matthew--Was at 63 degrees last Monday over here---HAHA!!! Just Kidding, I've already been there and done that with the snow.

Jim---What are you talking about?? My drawings suck!!! I'm no good at all!!!

  • Matt, I didn’t win anything. The drawings didn’t surprise me, but I was surprised on the clay model. It was a heck of a lot better than the stuff that did win (At least IMHO)

Oskar, Two E units, 10A and 10C. 10A was at the Janesville Celebration, but 10C wasn’t there as it was in Horicon being tested with the Bi-levels that were used a few weeks later in Madison at the 25th anniversary celebration there.

Yeah, I can definitely vouch for Jim, he’s a really good guy.

Sorry I’m late in tonight guys, but I was busy shoveling snow. We had at least 2 inches if not closer to three overnight and into this morning. Unfortunately they didn’t cancel school though......

Well, I’m going to get going, I’ve got stuff to do, namely Geometry and Biology. So I’ll see you all later.

  • So, anybody gonna talk?

Anyways, ya know CSX 800 the SD80MAC, of course you do!! Well what the hell happened to make it go from being an average Dark Future to the 'Spirit of Benning?' What festival did this happen in??

  • I think you've recruited everyone here! And we didn't turn into that, that turned into this! And of course, it's mostly the same thing.
Here it is snowing and blowing, with a few inches on the ground, and more coming! Looks like I'm going to have a white birthday! And if it is sunny this weekend, railfanning is an absolute must!
Today I did 2 weeks worth of english in one period, shows how easy it can be!

General and stupid question, but up in Ohio, don't you guys get out of school for snow at all? Since I never went to school anywhere but here in the Appalachian Mountains, we got out some for snow. Students today get out more frequently though.
  • Hey guys, since your all sharing your artwork, I thought I would too......
    My future car.....

    It's a Nissan 300ZX
    And a futuristic passenger loco......

An F70PH, painted for the Brown streak rr.
    Enjoy...

  • Hey, brown streak, wasn't that from GTA:Vice City?
We have about 3 inches of snow, pretty good considering we're in the rain shadow! So today I got my physics test, failed miserably (only 60%) but if the weather is good tomorrow, railfanning is a must. The forcast is a mix of sun and cloud, so there may be a good amount of sun.

  • uspscsx-- No kidding we get out if there is alot of snow or if it is below a certain temperature. Every school does that!!!

mustanggt--Nice drawings!! My stupid question of the day: There never was an F70PH, was there?

Sunday is for railfanning (snow or not)!!! I'll film out my car window if it gets heavy. Anyways, talk to ya later guys!!!
