I'm liking those CEFX AC4400CWs!! They look fresh. Must be somewhat new. I've only seen one CEFX AC4400CW leaser in my life, here on NS and I'd rather not tell you that I accidentally taped over it[:(!][V]!! Most of the CEFXs out here are the SD40M-2s. They too are int he Bluebird Paint Scheme! Mostly we get the Helm units out here though that are maroon and a light blue. Anyways nice pics, BTW, what were the first two exx- CP locos?

Ahh, mornin guys! Just went and caught WC 7495 ( SD45 ) and a CN SD40U # 6008. Ill be takin more pics later once they come back from NorthTown. Well, gonna go upload those pics , and yesterdays too.

I believe I saw WC 6605 out here on NS before! It and three other Norfolk Southern units were hauling a general freight! The last WC I saw though, was on 9-24-05. Behind an NS C40-9W<<of course!!

Morning everyone! Richard, what are you talking about when you say "The first 2 exx CP locos"?
I've never seen any CEFX locos beyond the SD90s and AC4400s, CP must be desperate to rid themselves of smaller locos over here. WE get CEFX '4400s here ALL the time. 1 on every 4 or so trains, sometimes 2 of them on the same train. Last weekend I saw 3 of them!

I just saw an AZMAZING consist on CSX Q692 it had:

WC/CN 6900 in gray paint
BNSF 8014 in H1
Electro Motive Leasing 6305
C&O 4617!!!

a DRG&W would be great in there

Did you get pictures? I have questions: What are EML 6305 and C&O 4617? Is that in kitten paint?
WC 6900?
And what's so speciasl about an SD40-2 in H-1?
One thing that makes me happy is how many people email me askeing questions about trains! 1-3 people a week!

Hmmm, Matt your pic looks as good as its going to get . www.Irfanview.com might help you sharpen it though.
WC 6900 is a ex GCFX, nee CN SD40-3
4617 is the last SD40 in C&O paint, no kitten just C&O on the hood.
EML 6305 is ex Milw Road

Oskar, I already know all of the spirit by number.
Matthew, the first pic you posted of those to switcher like locos that had a CP like paint. They look like ex- CPs. What were they?
I two saw the C&O 4617, caught it on film!! It was on an eight-loco consist, CSX,CSX,CSX,C&O,CSX,CSX,GATX,FURX. Can't remember loco #'s although my mom did write them down.

That is an RS-23, built for the CP in 1959 I think, and sold to the Windsor and Hantsport in the late '80s. I see you have also updated you signature. Maybe I should, too.....

Yeah, really starting to like them Spirit locos. Don't know why. Never heard of the Windsor & Hantsport. Quite interesting. Anyways, I'm gonna get off for a little while, so I'll check in later........

BTW, make sure you submit that second shot to railpictues.net, I think it is awesome!! Even if the mountains are blue, it adds to the mystique of the picture.

Out Pep rallies always suck too, people think that they are “cool” and “get people in the spirit” but really they are a bunch of baloney and a waste of time....

Hey guys, sorry I wasn’t around yesterday. I went to a meeting of my module group again. We are actually starting to look like something! We got about 8 modules lined up, plus our staging yard, and actually ran a train over it!!! We are well on our way to having a good layout ready for the February train show in Madison, WI.

Hey Chris, do you and your dad ever go to the Madison WI show? I personally think it's better than trainfest, I always find more deals at the Madison Show. And this year I will be displaying with my group! If you are going to be there be sure to stop by our layout. I can let you know where in the place we will be when it get's closer, although I already know we will be upstairs(the first time the show has ever been upstairs).

I also got some feeders soldered to my tracks, the first time I have ever done any soldering! I had another guy who was used to it do most of them for me, but I got to do a few of them myself, with his guidance.

I also made it to the WSOR's Madison WI yard yesterday, and I got one quick photo of a few engines at rest in the yard:
