TEEN RAILFAN PLACE- LETS TALK TRAINS !

  • Railpic's has rejected plenty of my photos too. I've got 47 photos on there, but I bet I submitted 100 or more. And in retrospect, most of the early ones I submitted diserved to rejected, they really weren't that good, but at the time I thought they were.

Well guys, I got to get going, so I'll see you later.

  • Don't worry, I'm here Alec!!

Hey Alec, I was going to ask, how long does it usually take rrpicturearchive to get back to you weather you can post photos or not? I submitted a photo to them about a week ago, but no reply as of yet. Does this mean they didn't like it??

  • Alec, I am here, I would not dictch "our place", it is my first stop when I come to the forums!!!!!! Just been TOO [censored] BUSY, not time for railfanning or model rring
  • Don't worry Alec, I would never ditch "our place" in fact, it is my first stop when I visit the forums. I have just been TOO [censored][censored][censored][censored][censored] BUSY THAT I HAVEN"T HAD TIME FOR ANY RAILFANNING RO MODEL RRING OR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOO BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yesterday (Saturday) the model railroad club I am part of, ofh yeah, I am in a model rr club in case yall didn't know, we went to home depot and found wood fo bench work that was cabinate grade for half price, so we loaded my dad's friends three quarter ton Suburban, aother friend's Ford Ranger, and my dad's Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4 X8 sheets of plywood, and then a crew of about ten guys (myself included) hauled tham down to our club basement, and then it began to rain, so we all made mad dashes to get the wood under awnings, I had to caryy one myself (they weighd a ton, and took 2 huys to carry) when the rain let up we got it all downstairs, and then we went and got foos and celebratred, then built some benchwork.

Today, if the railn lets up (its been railnning since saturday afternoon, I am going railfanning, as the gobby shop we go to is near the UP main. We arre going to the hobby store today, as I need MU cables, and my dad needs stuff too.

    HOW ABOUT YOU GUYS???????????????????????????????????????????
  • WAS going to go railfanning yesterday...but then it RAINED. The same rain you guys were probably getting, Chris. I'm only about 80 miles directly west of the suburbs, so the weather was probably just as dreary, if not more. I stayed on the computer all day trying to find pictures I could submit, but found they were all too sidelit or backlit. I WAS going to go out this morning at about 8, but my mom said no. So I went back to sleep. Skip forward two hours, and here I am, awake. On the computer. Exciting. [sigh]

  • Hey, I am sitting here doing homework and also submitting stuff to railpcs. [sigh]
  • Ohh i just checked the forecast by me and it shuolod clear up this afternoon, so maybe it will clear up by you!!!

    There is hope!!!!!!
  • Hey everyone, I was out all of yesterday so I couldn't check in. Went to Lethbridge to see an uncle, and saw so much more! CP's Lethbridge viaduct, which I hear is the longest railbridge in the world, it's over a mile long! Also saw 2 UP locos, a CEFX SD90, and a few AC4400s from CP. And thanks for all those smilies, chris! Of course you can use it for the background on your comp. Just get rid of the copyright notice, that thing gets annoying!
I am again hoping to go on my long-lost bike ride today.....I hope...if my friend can't come I have no excuse not to do math and physics hw, which there is a lot of....But my mom also wants to get me new x-country skis! Paradise, here I come! (Paradise valley is 1 valley SE of Lake Louise, and is at the left of the morant's curve pic, to the left of the saddleback)
I'll tell you how it went if it happens!

  • And it comes to life. Ill be posting stuff on rrpicturearchives shortly and submitting an old photo to railpics. Got some new pics today too.
Noah- Not quite sure how long it takes. The first time i sent in a pic they said that they had too many users this month, try the begining of next month. You should be okay with getting in though. Just wait.

    Anyway, keep a look out.
