Good afternoon... I have a question that has to do with a new railroad development. We are not looking for confidential or proprietary information, but perhaps more of an industry "standard..."
a) We have a developing situation whereby a new 450-mile railroad would be built and; the subject track would be open for through passage of Class 1 freight traffic by Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) and BNSF Railway (BNSF) unit and mixed merchandise trains. Both UPRR and BNSF crews would handle their "respective" run-through traffic.
b) We are looking for a general track right calculation base formula or "example" - (if there is such a rule of thumb?).
c) This calculation formula will be considered for development of the pro forma spreadsheet for the subject new rail line.
