WHY!?

  • Why is NS changeing it's paint scheme again, I mean it's ugly enogh. Post your thoughts about it right here.

  • While the solid black with white lettering and trim is pretty bland, almost all of the changes are in the details, not the overall appearance.
    The general paint scheme runs true to form for both NS predecessors. N&W was almost always solid black except for a brief fliratation with dark blue (which faded badly) in the late 1960's. Southern also was primarily black for freight power.
    The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
