Wants: 1. high-quality, sound equipped, SD40-2s, C636s, C30-7s, and F-units in BN. As for ones that don't cost an arm and a leg, that's out of the question....

    2. An end to the limited-production and other crap that makes models harder to get and more expensive.

  • When running a steel mill locomotive never race another guy for the right of way at a converging switch.  Both would up getting fired and did several hundred thousand dollars worth of damage.

I hope that your wife doesn't see this post.  At any rate, I've ridden BN suburban trains in the past with women at the throttle and I didn't notice any difference in train-handling.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Yes, and flying a plane is NOT like driving a train or a car.(Hey! I hit Mach in a Cessna!)

I went Mach 1 in a HHL-8 in ......MSTS(With a steam engine, so that the smoke was just a thin stream.

You can run a light car on your train, put it on the tail end. I'd like to change that then, never run an MT on the head end ahead of the heavy loads.

  • Never pick the wrong siding and end of going off a midair track into a gorge.
    Ouch.

  • That's why they make an emergency brake...duh!
  • Ever hear of, "Panic over order"? HMMMMMMMM!??
I actually altered MSTS just to have a little fun.
But the brakes on mSTS are crap, because a train has too much momentum. But the wrecks are very real indeed. just trains don't go straight into a gorge.
But one train stopped one inch from the end, but moved a little bit so one engine and three cars went with it. Might I mention it had locotrol?
