Favorite cab unit paint scheme

Tough choice to make! But I'd take the classic Tuscan Red of the Pennsylvania first, followed by the green and yellow of the C&NW. Santa Fe's Warbonnet paint scheme, IMO, isn't overrated--it just stands out in the minds of so many. It's a classic paint scheme from a time forever gone.

Western Maryland's "Circus Scheme" (Red, white and black) was one for the ages. I can't think of better colors for a railroad. Western Maryland had a history of fantastic paint schemes. Like that of the "Fireball Fast Freight Line". [swg]

I mourned the loss of the CB & Q's color scheme until I noticed that it lived on in the BN scheme if you looked at the negatives. About the time I realized that, along came the BNSF.
