A new wiki railfan site

  • We'd be very interested in some sort of collaboration with members here. We're just in the pre-launch phase of Train Spotting World, and it seems to us that there is huge synergy with your site here.

Now we "look" like wikipedia, but there the similarity ends. We're free and easy and light and fun, or will be when you guys get started. At present we're populating the site with about 2,000 pages on rail just to give a place to start. That will take a few more days.

Ok, I know some guys may say "Spam" over this post, but I think it is within your guidelines. If not, then so be it, but we really do see that we could be a great extension of you, here, especially since it's a wiki and that means you can pretty much "own" it

I posted in this particular forum because we are about rail fans and pursuing a hobby. If I got it wrong I apologise

The page you have requested cannot be Found (Error 404)

The train came by and I got on, that’s when it all began
  • yeah...it's not working

    Your friendly neighborhood CNW fan.

  • It is probably not working because it is not to the publishing stage yet and has not actually been put on the web for public view yet (correct me if I am wrong).  I had a similar problem with my own website.
Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!
  • nope thats not the problem. The link is just pasting the other sites address on the end of the trains.com one. Just delete the trains.com and hit enter, the site is up and running
  • Ok, I know some guys may say "Spam" over this post, but I think it is within your guidelines.
