Train set value

  • Hi! I am in the process of downsizing my train collection. I purchased the Proto 1000 F3A series that was made in 2005. It is a brand new compete HO scale electric train set named the Continental Crossing.  It is now a discontinued model. I would like to sell it but unsure of the current value. The locomotive is the Santa Fe, with the Western Pacific car, the Southern Pacific car, Chesapeake Ohio car, MacMillan Bloedel Building Materials car, and the Santa Fe caboose car. Has the Proto 2000 body mounted knuckle couplers. The box was never open.   Can anyone give me any suggestions on the value of the set?  Thank you so much.
