[CAZEPHYR]

 A friend purchased an ALCO builders plate numbered 77484.  It is a ALCO and GE plate and I was wondering where we could find out what locomotive type it was on in April 1950.  

Anyone know where we look up the archives for this plate.

It appears that it is the builders plate for L&N 74, an Alco S3.
