Living in the Pacific Northwest, I wanted a challenge to build residence of Key West which I vacationed at this year. Since I couldn’t find any kits with this architecture, I completely scratch built this HO scale Key West house, landscaping and trees. Different techniques making palms, and one Banyan tree on the left side of house. About a 2 month project.

House details include all scale lumber trim, window venetian blinds and curtains, plank wood floors, gutters and down spouts, porch chairs, and custom brass door details. House is equipped with room illumination and sound.

Some of the suppliers used on project:
Northeastern Scale Lumber
Vector-Cut
Builders-In-Scale
Rusty Stumps
Tamiya Paints
AK Interactive

Photographed outside under the sunny Yakima Washington sky.
