CNJ 108 delivering to Dunellen Coal & Lumber with National Biscuit in the background

The coal silos are scratchbuilt from 2" PVC pipe with Evergreen scribed sheet wrapped around the pipe. The bands are each 3 pieces of Evergreen .020 rod with .080 channel for the band connectors. Multiply the 6-piece band assemblies by 38 bands per silo times 4 silos, and you get 912 pieces. (What would I do without an NWSL chopper?) My silos are patterned after those of Sargeant Brothers Coal in Somerville, NJ. My layout (since disassembled for a move) is based on the Jersey Central Central Division mainline through Dunellen, NJ prior to the 1954 grade separation project.
