I was given this loco in the mid '80's and have recently taken it out to test the track on my new layout. I have looked repeatedly in my Diesel Locomotives Cyclopedia and cannot find a loco that looks like this one. I don't know the mfg. The only info I find on it is stamped on the bottom of the fuel tank "Made in Yugoslavia". The body/frame is plastic and all wheels have electrical pick ups. Here's the picture I took: http://members.cox.net/dbhuff/images/up_emd.jpg Is it an EMD GP, if so, GP- what?. My layout is modeled in the early '50's and was wondering if this loco is of this era.
