I received from a friend a few boxes of N scale things. Among the stash were some engines. I want to say these things have been sitting for at least 15 yrs. They run, but it took alot of gentle nudging and directional changes to get them going around the loop. My question is, could the motors in these be in any decent shape at all. Even with the Tech II power up at 100%, most of these engines barely run at a decent speed for train operations. I have not even attempted to load cars behind them.

Please email me or post any thoughts or suggestions on this.

malcolm

plainfield, IL
