St. Lawrence and Atlantic
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, May 14, 2001 11:51 AM
I would like to know 1) if anyone can suggest a close color match for the "cornflower" yellow of the St. Lawrence and Atlantic. I'm trying to model GP9 #62.
2) I can't find a source of decals for this railroad (no surprise), so I might try to make my own. I've had little luck with an ink-jet printer; Dull cote simply makes the ink run. Can I use a laser printer? The lettering is dark blue, but black would be acceptable, esp. in N scale.
Thanks for any help/suggestions you can offer.

Re: (2) You can buy special decal paper for computer printers, including laser printers. Micro-Mark is one of many sources. And you need a fixative, other than Dullcote, which is sold along with the special paper.
