Hello, this is my first post and just joined. I have been lurking on this site as well as the Atlas site for the past couple weeks. I'm coming back to scale model railroading after 35 years. Brought out my old tyco's, bachmanns and atlas engines. A little cleaning, a little lube, a little push and they all work fine until I go to the train hobby store and find out what I've been missing. Didn't know what DCC was. Retiring and moving to West Virginia. Plan on going to work everyday for a least a year building my "Monster" layout. I have purchased 4 DCC equipped Locos, steam and diesel, 2 with sound and all can be run DC and DCC. I bought that Bachmann no nonsense, easy to use, program, and it works great. I got the Command with Chessie(DCC) engine for $97.00 on Ebay. Anybody have any comments about that particular system for a returning beginner. Happy Trails, Rangerover2
