Top heavy autocarrier

I have an MTH autocarrier. It is a double decker,
carrying 4 cars, 2 on top & 2 on bottom. Because it is top heavy, it rolls over at high speeds on my 0-31 curves. I tried lowering the car's center of gravity by taping lead fishing weights(sinkers)
to the underside of the car. This has met with limited success, because the round shape of the weights prevents me from adding enough weight. My local hobby shop was unable to provide me with any other ideas. Does anyone know of flat weights I could affix to the underside of this autocarrier, or have any other ideas? Thanks.
