Hi There

I am finally starting my layout!

I am going to the shops and I would like to know what you think i should be looking for. Before Friday i will be going to Bunnings Warehouse and buying a 2x4 piece of wood for my N Scale Track. This will be about au$30

This leaves me with $25 to get stuff. I am not sure what else i need.

I have got a Power Pack,Some very old track that needs cleaning everyday and some wire. I was thinking i would save for an engine and some extra track.

Do you think i Should use the track i have got or start fresh with all nickel silver track.I am not sure if oxidisation affects the loco or not.

Personally i would like to go and get all new track but with what i make $$$ this is very difficult.

I was thinking i would do this as a project layout. It will be very simple.

I would like it to have a bridge or an "over and under"section. It will be an oval or figure eight and i will use flextrack. I am trying to get experience with different techniques so i am going to roadbed to.

Many thanks

Pavariangoo
