I saw that Walthers has posted the instructions and installation template for their 130' Modern Turntable which is due to arrive on March 1:
http://www.walthers.com/instructions/0933/09330000002829.pdf
http://www.walthers.com/instructions/extras/0933/09330000002829a.pdf

I'm a little disappointed to see that it uses a split rail power pickup for the bridge track so you have two areas in the turning circle where you can't place leads or roundhouse tracks. But I am very disappointed with the drive mechanism. It has a drive gear at the end of the bridge that apparantly meshes with gear teeth cast into the pit. There's no closeup photo of the pit to show how those cast in gears look but I can't imagine that it looks prototypical. I have an advance order for one of these turntables and I'm seriously thinking of cancelling it after seeing the final design. I may reconsider if I can get a real idea of how it really looks. Also, the instructions don't mention whether both ends of the table are powered but read like it may have only one end powered.
Charles
