Anyone own any? If so how is the underneath detail just basic or better? Thinking to buy one.

It is unusual for Rapido not to post photos of the underbelly of one of their cars. If you go to Fans of Rapido FB site and ask, I am sure someone will post a photo for you PDQ.

Email Rapido and ask for a pic of one, or just buy one and hope for the best. $65.00ca is about a 1/4 tank of diesel for my pick-up or a dinner out at a nice restaurant. The car will last you a lot longer than both of those.

Edit; found this.

Well, just received 7 of them from my distributor yesterday.  Various road names.

There was some shipping damage to the box, not Rapido’s fault.  So took a look at the cars without taking them out of their boxes.  Everyone seemed to have the same issue.  The bulk heads on each end were slightly tipped in toward the center.

EDIT:  Did a more careful external inspection of the boxes.  Only two of them had the bulk heads tipped in toward the center.

Took one of the cars out of the box.  Appears that the bulk heads are lightly glued to the frame, and have moved without much apparent damage.  Hopefully won’t take much to repair.

There was also a stray grab iron for which I could not find a home.

This was not one of Rapido’s more stellar model packaging efforts, especially since Jason recently posted something about packing concerns.

Other than that, the models seem nicely detailed.  But definitely not for the ham-handed.

And before all of you that are now ready to chime in that your under the table blue box find is just as nice start to type, please don’t.  We’ve heard that befor, so don’t bother.
