MidlandMike I noticed that rail looked like brass. Don't G scale locos have a problem with tarnished brass rails, or are they battery powered?

I'd imagine heavily tarnished brass track may cause problems but I doubt those who use it let things go that far.
A VERY good place to ask your question would be on the "Garden Railways" Forum.
I'll tell you, some of those models are so well done it's hard to tell what scale they are without some sort of a reference, like the brass rail of the G Gauge models or the three-rail tracks of the O Gauge.
MidlandMike There was a layout with NYC diesels that looked larger scale. Was it O scale or G scale?

Well THAT'S a relief! I thought I was seeing the ghost of my late brother-in-law, a fanatic N-Gauger who'd NEVER miss an Amherst show. The resemblence is amazing!
A#1 Harrison, thanks a heap. Regards, Peter
