Thanks Bear!They took about an hour each and several repaints to get them looking good. The waitress’s serving tray itself took almost an hour to get it looking right.The tray is a 2mm flat washer and the glasses are 1mm optical fiber. Getting that intricate is tough for old shaky Mel. Can’t remember how long she took but two hours wouldn’t surprise me, and you can't even see her through a window. Which 'little people' are going to Julia's Bakers? Who are going to the crossing? See the coalman delivering coal to Mrs Murray's house. See the man on the bicycle at the crossing. Oh! and the Wetherby to Leeds Central train is departing Roseville Station.

WOW . . . Great looking stuff as usual guys!!!! This is always the best topic on the Forum, keep the pictures coming guys.Between arthritis and just old age I haven’t done much for a couple of weeks. Old Shaky Mel is still dinking around with my heavy weight lounge car. I slipped the shell on and took some pictures and much to my surprise the pictures turned out pretty good.I’m kinda surprised that the camera focused on the interior goodies and not the window frames. It shows that if you get close enough you can see the interiors through the tiny windows.The tiny table lamps work pretty good for taking pictures.Shell on and exterior lighting, the shell will be painted SP Lark colors two tone gray.Exterior lighting off and interior LED lighting on.
There are 15 LEDs in this one and the total current is 6ma.I guess I held my tongue right to get the camera to work the way I wanted. I haven installed the window glass yet, that will come after I paint the shell's exterior.
With the lighting working as planned and the passengers in place the only thing left is the shell. Arthritis allowing I’ll get out the airbrush next week and do it to it. The black paint is a good idea. I've had my share of "glow-in-the-dark" structures.
When you do get around to adding interior lighting you'll find it best to keep it subdued and try not to have a direct view of the light source. Keep it diffused.

As always, loving seeing everyone's work. This is always one of my favorite threads.
Here are some pics from a few years ago when I belonged to a local club and would run trains there regularly. When Covid-19 subsides I'll rejoin and run trains again.
Here's a kitbashed model of PRR K4s 1361, a BLI locomotive and Sunset 130p75 tender pulling a train.
A BLI P70 coach with marker lights ends a passenger train.
Kevin- I did not paint the load yet, but I plan to sometime in the future.
John York1- I am planning to build a layout in the corner of the basement, a point to point layout focusing on prototypical operations on the D&H in Plattsburgh, NY.

Jimmy, thanks for starting us this weekend. I really like your trees that have the autumn colors. My trees are all green -- I hadn't considered trees in the fall. I might have to try that.
Ed, that fuel station scene with the dirty tracks and ballast looks realistic. You're right, most of those you see in real life reflect years of spilling oil.
David, that's another great scene from your railroad. That's sounds like a neat idea to raise money for a steamship's restoration.
Harrison, I must have missed when you told of tearing down the layout. What are you planning? That's a pretty neat-looking pulpwood car.
Ringo, another nice-looking hopper car. I've mentioned before that I want to start getting some covered hopper cars -- yours look great.
Garry, that scene is a great example of a background and foreground blending together. It's difficult to see where the layout ends and the background begins.
Rick, I love E and F locomotives. That's a nice-looking CP F7 A&B.
Kevin, that's a neat lineup of billboard cars. It's too bad railroads don't do that anymore.
Tanker, that's a neat look model of an excursion train.
Allan, that's a nice scene of coal cars. Someone was riding on the top of one of the cars to get that photo.
Peter, as always, your photos make us do a double-take -- is it real or is it part of a layout. Great work!

I was getting ready to go outside and shovel the snow too, but when I looked through the window I saw that the snow had missed us. That was a good break.

Jimmy - Thanks for starting WPF for the first weekend in February 2021. The video show that you are making progress on your layout. You have quite a task ahead of you there.

I was not suggesting your painting was anything less than perfect. I am in 100% agreement that the prototype should have made a better choice for color combination.

Kevin- I really like proto kits too! theyre not too had to do and always yeild good results. I personally like Circus City Decals a lot. The owner is a good guy and is always quick to respond. A few months ago I inquired to getting custom graphics and he instead sent me to MicroScale to save me money. Really stand out guy with nice WSOR layout. Id reccomend him to anyone

Ed: This industrial lamps look great on your layout. Those new autoracks are handsome. I only have one open autorack that holds just four automobiles. It cost way too much to populate it. I could never have one of the those biggies.
David: I like that scene. The lorry with the low cab and the high trailer looks great.
Harrison: That is a good looking pulpwood bulkhead flat car. Did you paint the load? My Atlas cars came with unpainted loads.
Ringo: That new hopper car looks great. I love all of my Proto-2000 freight cars. Those covered hoppers are one of the few they made that do not fit my era. How was Circus City Decals to work with? I am going to need more custom decals soon.
Garry: That picture of the town of Blackhawk on your layout is simply beautiful. That is a very pleasing scene that really shows off a great section of your layout.

Good, morning from cloudy, cold and windy Northeast Ohio, we were supposed to get snow and a wintry mix last night buy it looks like we only got the wintry mix.
Jimmy, thanks for starting us out, good work on that kit, from what I understand the old Custom Finishing kits from when Bob Raszca owned the company were a lot easier to build than the kits now due to all the flash etc on from using the old dies.
Ed, nice looking work, I just received the same auto racks that you got, now to get cars to fill them up!
Dave, another great scene, you British modelers get some great scenes on small layouts.

Ringo, GP35's are always good looking engines, also covered hoppers from that period look great.
Garry, love the picture, especially the 2-10-2, my Pennsy 2-10-2 is one of my favorite locomotives.
I managed to get a couple of cars done this week!
LBF 50' FMC Double Door Boxcar kit, removed the poorly done cast on ladders and replaced with IMRC ones from the scrapbox, also added A-line Sill Steps in place of the cast plastic ones. Car was painted with Scalecoat II NP Light Green paint and lettered with Champ Decals. The SP&S ordered these FMC/Gunderson cars in 1970 to deal with the increased lumber traffic out of the Pacific Northwest. Like the DT&I I think they regretted the yellow lettering on green paint.
Exactrail Evan 4780CF Covered Hopper kit, painted with Scalecoat II ATSF Red and lettered with Oddballs Decals. Evans in the 1977-1981 period built about 6,000 of these covered hoppers to deal with the increased grain traffic in the midwest. Garvey Elevators bought some of these cars new and took over the leases on other cars to service their elevators, the first cars were painted in this red scheme, the later cars were painted in Cascade Green with the same lettering.
Like Ed I got some new cars but also got this CP F7B to go with the FP7A's I got over a year and a half ago.
