I think the yearbook is a great idea.  Happy modeling to all.

I added your avatar for the 2022 edition!

Great to hear from you.

I intend to try and take a more active part on this forum.Keep up the great work everyone, this hobby has given me something to concentrate on during this pandemic.

I am looking forwarf to hearing more from you. People that model foreign prototypes are fascinating to me, especially those that mode American trains in other Countries.

Texas Zephyr
Somehow my ID became what it is now instead of the old one with "Texas Zepher" mis-spelled because the proper spelling was taken when I first signed up.  Now I have the proper spelling but all my history is not attached to it!

I will put your corrected avatar in the 2022 edition. I am glad it was all straightened out.

This post reminded me (again!) to change my avatar pic to something more personable.

I like the new avatar... I will use it in the 2022 edition and get rid of your weeble.

I lost interest with the last software upgrade that wiped out my user ID
 How long ago was that?

Hmmm, Long enough ago that I don't remember.  But,  I found a message from 2017 that said "I've been trying to get my userid straighted out for over a year".   The first post I show with this ID is March 27, 2016.   Back when the Filosopy Phridays were still going.

It has been four years since I joined this group. In that time, these are the forum users I have come to know.

I know this is not an exhaustive list, and compiling it has been quite the effort.

I think this is one of the most cool things on a forum (any forum not just this ons)  I've seen in a long time.   I'm not a lurker, I lost interest with the last software upgrade that wiped out my user ID somehow so I've been missing since then.  But thanks for including me anyway.    Somehow my ID became what it is now instead of the old one with "Texas Zepher" mis-spelled because the proper spelling was taken when I first signed up.  Now I have the proper spelling but all my history is not attached to it!    I see many people still here from back then.

I have been a member here since 2003.  I do not post much but I do browse a lot and I just renewed my MRR subscription.  I think the yearbook is a great idea.  Happy modeling to all.

I lurk more than post, my modeling time is sporatic and so I try to make the most of it when I can. Must post on here more, anyway thought I would at least say hello.

You posted enough to make the yearbook!

Your avatar is about 2/3 of the way down in the middle.

Glad you are here.

That is a very thoughtful and interesting idea, Kevin. I'm sure it took a lot of work.

Thank you for the kind words. It was worth the effort. I really like seeing us all on one graphic.

What ever anyone may say about it, one thing is for certain. Sure brought out quite a few members in hiding!

Yes it did, and that is wonderful.

I do have some models that regrettably no one will see. Anyway, thanks for the works you've done on this effort.

You can always email pictures to me, and I am happy to post them.

What a great idea Kevin! I remember one time, about 5 -6 years ago, you sent me a PM, out of the blue, taking an interest in my (Toledo Erie Central) railroad. I thought it very nice of you to take an interest in my modeling. Although I have had quite a bit of trouble posting photos on this forum (and have since given up), I do have some models that regrettably no one will see. Anyway, thanks for the works you've done on this effort.

I'm sure it took quite some time to gather all data/info........but time is really unimportant when it comes to a dedication to a cause. What ever anyone may say about it, one thing is for certain. Sure brought out quite a few members in hiding!?...........LOL

Nice undertaking Kevin! Smile, Wink & Grin

I'm near the end, thanks for the inclusion.

Position means nothing. All the weebles ended up at the bottom because it looked silly with them interspersed with picture avatars.

The bottom row of weebles are actually the most prominent participants. tstage, Track Fiddler, HO-Velo, Mbinsewi, Maxman, and Galaxy all ended up in the bottom row.

That is because I just kept moving the row down as I added more weebles.

Fascinating I that I saw myself in the yearbook since I longer posted in the diner about 3 years.

It's good to see you thru pictures and ideas/input.

I just a new picture platform to showcase my 'somewhat' process on my layout. Just to proof that not making anything up.

See you in the yearbook next year.

Not much more I can say (that hasn't already been said) other than "Thanks!" I can plainly see my logo in the upper middle.

I thought that we had multiple users with the PC logo as an avatar. Yours was the only one I was able to find.

Imagine how many years of modeling combined are in these posts.

That is hard to imagine. This is definitely a model railroad community with unimaginable acccumulated knowledge and experience.

Hey Kevin -

You are so right! And I apologize profusely for bringing it up and opening the gate that led this thread astray.

Robert

Robert,

It looks like your post was interpreted as a challenge, challenge accepted, and you were handily defeated.

No worries my friend.

I love your posts, and your layout. Please continue to share.

Nice work.

It's amazing to see so many "faces" in one spot. Imagine how many years of modeling combined are in these posts.
