Hi Anderson!
Welcome to the forums!!!
We look forward to seeing your layout progress! I'm just starting to build my own after more than 15 years in the hobby. I had given up on building my own layout because of back problems, but I think I have found a way to get around them. Unfortunately the Covid-19 thing has put a hold on construction of the benchwork but I have a bunch of structures to build so the time won't be a total loss.
Here is my build thread if you are interested:

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Welcome aboard. Always glad to meet more model railroaders. We woud love to see your layout even before it can run trains. Feel free to post your track plan. Good luck. Have a good time.

I commented on a thread today from someone who made their 5th post in 13 years.
There is no law in lurking, but if you aren't participating, trying to help others, telling people what you know, you are never going to find out what you know isn't always true.
Warning: posting photos is unique in this forum. There are directions in a "sticky" post at the top of the general forum. Cheating, while allowed, doesn't ever work.

AndersonI'm new to the forums and just wanted to say hello.
Welcome to the forums. Your first posts are moderated, so they probably won't show up immediately. After several posts, things will be normal.
It sounds like you have been planning this layout for a long time.

I'm new to the forums and just wanted to say hello. I'm nearing retirement and have my tables and decks built. I will begin the fun part in about 6 months. I have spent the past 15 years aquiring all the goodies for my layout. I look forward to interacting with you. Have a great day!
